Willis earned a 25-18, 25-14, 25-13 victory over Caney Creek on Friday in District 20-5A action.

Bella Cantara led the Ladykats (30-14, 10-5) with 11 kills, Georgia Everett added seven, and Reese Edmiston had five. Erin Bond had 17 assists and six digs, and Izzy Sundquist finished with 13 assists and five digs. Trinity Eten collected eight digs, and Taylor Thomas had seven.

Willis returns to action at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Lake Creek. Caney Creek plays host to Huntsville at the same time that night.

THE WOODLANDS SWEEPS CONROE

The Woodlands swept Conroe 25-7, 25-10, 25-8 on Friday in District 15-6A play.

The Lady Highlanders (41-3, 13-1) were led by Dylan Maberry, who finished with 11 kills and 11 digs. Amanda Ifeanyi had six kills and two blocks, and Clara Brower collected 30 assists. Allie Griffith had a team-high 12 digs, and Jackie Lee added nine.

The Lady Tigers (16-23, 1-12) were led on offense by T’lisha Kennedy’s nine kills. Saege Anzueto led the defensive effort with 16 digs.

Conroe is at Klein Collins on Tuesday. The Woodlands has its district bye Tuesday and hosts St. Agnes.

SPLENDORA SWEEPS SHEPHERD

Splendora earned a 25-14, 25-5, 25-22 victory over Shepherd in District 21-4A play on Friday night.

Jalynn Knight and Allie Jones led the Ladycats (26-13, 5-2) with 10 and eight kills, respectively. Falon Buford paced the attack with 22 assists, and Kayla Martin had a team-high 17 digs. Buford added 10 digs, and Tori Moore finished with eight digs.

Splendora returns to action at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Liberty.

OAK RIDGE TOPS KLEIN OAK

Oak Ridge earned a 25-16, 25-15, 24-26, 25-22 victory over Klein Oak on Friday in District 15-6A play.

Katie Mullen led the attack for the Lady War Eagles (25-16, 8-5) with 11 kills. Alex Bull finished with nine kills, and Alex Singleton and Emma Smith each had eight. Piper Boydstun paced the offense with 22 assists, and Avery Fowler had 18. Julia Neveu posted a team-high 32 digs, and Abby Fowler (27), Singleton (26), Avery Fowler (13) and Boydstun (12) all reached double digits.

Oak Ridge returns to action at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at home against Klein Cain.

MAG WEST SWEEPS RUDDER

Magnolia West earned a 25-12, 25-11, 25-8 victory over Rudder in District 19-5A play on Friday. The Mustangs (18-16, 7-4) return to action at 6 p.m. Tuesday at home against Katy Paetow.

GRAND OAKS BEATS TOMBALL

Grand Oaks earned a 15-25, 25-23, 25-13, 25-18 victory over Tomball on Friday in District 20-5A action. The Grizzlies (32-10, 14-1) return to action at 6 p.m. Tuesday at home against Montgomery.

MONTGOMERY FALLS TO HUNTSVILLE

Montgomery suffered a 25-23, 25-22, 25-21 loss at Huntsville on Friday in District 20-5A action.

Maddy Wofford led the Bears (11-30, 3-12) with nine kills, while Ally Williams and Jay Wofford each had four. Williams also recorded team-highs with nine assists and 14 digs.

Montgomery returns to action at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Grand Oaks.

MAGNOLIA BEATS WALLER

The Magnolia Bulldogs topped Waller 25-20, 18-25, 25-17, 25-22 Friday night in District 19-5A.

Ellie Anderson had 11 kills for Magnolia while Lily Dalton had 10. Anderson also had four blocks.

Claire McCusker led in assists with 23. Sydney Gentry led in digs with 17 while Kaylyn Fojt had 11 and Megan Plant had 10.

Magnolia (18-14, 4-7) hosts Bryan Rudder Tuesday at 6 p.m.
