Several softball players from Montgomery County were selected to the Texas Sports Writers Association all-state teams after standout performances throughout the season.
The Woodlands had three players earn honorable mention in Class 6A — third baseman Skylar Sirdashney and outfielders Kayla Falterman and Skylar Stockton. College Park had one selection for honorable mention with catcher Kaitlyn Corn.
Magnolia had three players selected as well. Outfielder Baylee Lemons was named to the first team, first baseman Jamison Holder was a second-team selection, and Madison Nguyen earned honorable mention at second base.
Willis had one selection as pitcher Ashley Vallejo was named to the third team. Lake Creek also had one player selected as pitcher Emiley Kennedy was given honorable mention. Montgomery outfielder Maggie Hendrix was also given honorable mention.
Splendora had three selections in Class 4A. Pitcher Caleigh Millican and first baseman Gracie Bumpurs was named to the second team, and second baseman Shaelyn Sanders was given honorable mention.
