Ramirez’s effort helped the Mustangs (9-2-3, 4-0-2) remain unbeaten in league play. The Bulldogs (3-3, 3-3) dropped to .500 overall and in district with the loss.
Magnolia West hosts College Station at 7 p.m. Friday.
Lake Creek blanks Dayton
Lake Creek shut out Dayton 2-0 on the road Tuesday night in District 20-5A play.
The Lions (10-5-2, 3-3-1) got a goal apiece from Karston Kuciemba and Hunter Robert.
Lake Creek is at Montgomery at 7 p.m. Friday.
Splendora plays to draw
Splendora played East Chambers to a 1-1 draw Tuesday night in District 22-4A play.
The Wildcats (11-5-2, 3-0-1) got their lone goal from Justin Garcia.
Splendora travels to La Marque for a 7 p.m. start Friday.
Oak Ridge edges College Park
Oak Ridge edged College Park 1-0 on Tuesday night at home in District 13-6A play.
The War Eagles (8-3-2, 2-2) got the game’s lone goal from Ethan Metz.
College Park (7-6-1, 1-3) hosts rival The Woodlands at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Oak Ridge, meanwhile, is at Grand Oaks.
Willis tops Grand Oaks on PKs
Willis and Grand Oaks played to a scoreless tie, then Willis earned a 5-4 win in penalty kicks Tuesday night at home in District 13-6A play.
Oscar Flores, Christian Pavon, Byron Rocha, Jason Nunez and Miguel Granados scored for Willis.
The Wildkats (4-9-3, 1-3) got two points from the result, while the Grizzlies (4-10-1, 1-2-1) got one.
Grand Oaks hosts Oak Ridge at 7:30 p.m. Friday, while Willis is at Conroe at the same time.
Caney Creek, K-Park draw
Caney Creek earned a 3-3 draw against District 20-5A co-leader Kingwood Park on Tuesday night.
The Panthers (7-5-1, 4-2-1) got their goals from Mario Leon, Jessie Villa and Uvaldo Lozano in the tie.
Caney Creek is at Porter at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
New Caney shuts out Montgomery
New Caney shut out Montgomery 6-0 on Tuesday night in District 20-5A play.
The Eagles (6-5, 4-3) had a balanced effort offensively in the win. Miguel Rodriguez led with two goals and an assist. Eduardo Hinojosa scored twice as well, and Angel Hernandez had a goal and an assist. Hector Villareal had two assists and Alan Torres had one helper.
Montgomery hosts Lake Creek at 7 p.m. Friday. New Caney is at Kingwood Park the same night at 7:30 p.m.
Porter edges Cleveland
Porter defeated Cleveland 3-2 in District 20-5A action Tuesday.
Alex Jaramillo, Jovany Garcia and Gerardo Vasquez all scored goals for the Spartans (10-2, 7-0). Garcia had two assists, and Jaramillo added another.
Porter, which now sits alone in first place, hosts Caney Creek at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Grand Oaks rolls to win
Reese Rupe scored four times and had an assist in Grand Oaks’ 8-0 win over Willis at home Tuesday night in District 13-6A play.
The Grizzlies (11-2-1, 2-2) led 4-0 at halftime and scored three times before 20 minutes had passed. Natalie Bruschke opened scoring and finished with two tallies. Chloe Covarrubio and Ashley Aguilera also scored. Gisellie Francis, Analise Caudle and Veronica Patel all had an assist.
Sophia Dean and Lily Christiansen picked up the shutout in net. The Grizzlies outshot Willis 27-2.
Grand Oaks is at Oak Ridge at 7:15 p.m. Friday, while Willis (4-6-1, 0-4) hosts Conroe at 7:30 p.m.
Lake Creek blasts Broncos
Lake Creek rolled to a 7-0 win over Dayton at home Tuesday in District 20-5A play.
The Lions (6-5-2, 3-2-1) got two goals apiece from Kendal Kurth and Taylor Hampton in the win. Katelyn Denley has two assists. Camryn Roberts and Alexi Landburg scored one goal each, and Hannah Phillips scored her first career goal. Camryn Robbins, Morgan McGee, Avery Bowers, Rylee Oleyar and Taylor Hampton had an assist apiece. Makenzie Thrasher earned the shutout in goal.
Lake Creek hosts rival Montgomery at 7 p.m. Friday.
The Woodlands rolls past Conroe
The Woodlands scored all of its goals in the first half in its 6-0 win over Conroe on Tuesday in District 13-6A play.
The Lady Highlanders (11-1, 4-0) had a pair of two-goal scorers in Marley Krach and Kennedy Floyd. Gracie Britten opened scoring and Madison Carney ended it.
The Woodlands hosts rival College Park, which is also unbeaten in 13-6A play, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, while Conroe is at Willis at the same time.
Porter flies past Cleveland
Porter cruised to a 12-0 win over Cleveland on Tuesday night in District 20-5A play.
The Spartans (8-5-2, 4-1-2) led 10-0 at halftime and attempted to simply hold possession in the second half rather than running up the score. Katherine Speyerer and Jasmine Marquez both had hat tricks in the win and Speyerer added an assist. Angela Ruiz, Jasmine Stalter, Rose Kasprzyk, Kimberly Ramirez, Mariam Gomez and Yidai Sifuentes all scored once. Catherine Rivera had three assists.
Porter is at Caney Creek at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Montgomery shuts out New Caney
Montgomery celebrated Senior Night in style with a 4-0 shut out of New Caney at home Tuesday in District 20-5A play.
The Bears (6-5-2, 5-1) got a pair of goals from Makenzie Griffith, and one apiece from Ashlee Stoltje and Brenda Rodriguez. Kayla Zimny and Kailea Oliver earned the shut out in net.
New Caney hosts Kingwood Park at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Randall Reed Stadium. Montgomery is at rival Lake Creek at 7 p.m. the same night.
Splendora edges East Chambers
Splendora topped East Chambers 1-0 on Tuesday in District 22-4A play.
The Ladycats (5-5-2, 4-1) got their goal from Joselyn Gonzales. Laura Lopez assisted it.
Splendora is at Hamshire-Fannett at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Caney Creek ran into a strong Kingwood Park team and lost 8-0 on the road Tuesday night in District 20-5A play.

Magnolia rolls past West
Magnolia earned an 8-0 victory at Magnolia West in District 19-5A action Monday.
Sara Giannotti and Dani Etter each scored four goals for the Lady Bulldogs (15-0, 7-0), who are ranked No. 2 in the state by the Texas Girls Coaches Association.
Magnolia West (3-5-3, 0-4-3) is still looking for its first district victory.
