Cable lifts are an extremely common and versatile boat lift used on many Texas lakes. Although there are many different types and applications of cable lifts, they all use wire cables that wrap and unwrap around a “drive pipe” to raise and lower a boat or personal water craft (PWC). These lift systems can be installed on a variety of structures, including boathouses, below a deck (as a low-profile lift), or mounted to a bulkhead.

Regular maintenance on gear drives, chains, pulleys and drive pipes can keep cable lifts working well for many years.

Remember that boat lifts may need to be re-sized if you purchase a larger or smaller boat. Our experienced technicians are able to assist with any future boat lift maintenance that you may need.
