DeBraun Hampton, Lake Creek, Soph., WR

Hampton scored the game-winning touchdown in the Lions’ 41-40 thriller at Morton Ranch. He totaled six receptions for 94 yards.

Ross Choate, Magnolia, Sr., QB

Choate rushed for three touchdowns and 145 yards in a 27-21 win over Lufkin

Jacob Smith, Grand Oaks, Jr., QB

Smith totaled four touchdowns (three passing, one rushing) in a 51-12 win over South Houston Friday night. The junior totaled 230 yards passing and 61 rushing.

Will Young, John Cooper, Sr., WR/DB/K

Young caught eight passes for a team-high 172 yards in the Dragons’ win over Cistercian Prep. He also had an interception on defense and made four extra points.

Rudy Jackson, Conroe Covenant, Soph., QB

Jackson threw three touchdowns and totaled 236 yards in the Cougars shutout of East Texas Christian Friday night.

David Soriano, Willis, Sr., DL

Soriano had eight tackles (two for loss), two sacks and a forced fumble as Willis’ defense stood tall in an upset at A&M Consolidated.

Magnolia West Offensive Line

Behind the offensive line’s effort, the Magnolia West Mustangs rushed for 193 yards and five touchdowns in a home win over Cleveland Friday night.

Conner Dunphy, College Park, Soph., ATH

Dunphy scored the game-winning touchdown Saturday against Klein and sparked the offense with a couple big yardage plays in the victory. The sophomore totaled 90 yards rushing and 60 yards receiving.
