In 1984, Vernon and Mary Bowers opened Kuntry Katfish with its original ten tables, and seating for forty. Through hard work and good fortune, it has become the popular spot you see today. Kuntry Katfish is as much known for its community involvement as it is for its good food. After Vernon’s passing in 2001, the restaurant continues to be family owned and operated.
