    Righthander Felipe Paulino, who has been on the disabled list since June, will throw a 40- to 45-pitch simulated game today at Chase Field. Manager Brad Mills said he hopes Paulino, who was 1-8 with a 4.40 ERA in 86 innings, can be back on the field before the season's end in some capacity.
