Houston withdrawal water from Lake Conroe

Unknowing to most when Houston was taking our water from the lake they were having mains busting like crazy down there and Mayor(ugh) Parker had laid off many public works people that they had no one to repair them and most of our water was running out on the ground. The water they were getting was being sold to Sugarland. That was about the time when Houston was supposed to be in such a financial bind and she went to Austin to lobby to get the laws changed to access the Firefighters pension and she blew $1,000,000 of the city money with no results whatsovever.
