The Lake Conroe Area has some of the finest golf courses in the Southwest! The Bentwater community on the North end of the lake offers two championship 18 hole courses with another coming soon. The new course will be dedicated exclusively to golfers without the usual residential development lining the greens and fairways. For more about the new course, click here. The South end of the lake offers the highly respected Walden course, regularly rated by experts as the best course in the Houston area. Adjacent to Walden is another 18 hole golfcourse at Del Lago. And to the East you will find 27 holes of golf in the community of April Sound. Memberships are available here to non-community residents too!

The area also offers Wedgewood and Texas National, two great "open to the public" courses within quick driving distance. Several other golf clubs in the area offer memberships at very reasonable rates.

Practice facilities, pro shops and even golf cart sales can also be found scattered throughout the area.
