Visitors are invited to attend two MCABW events before joining the organization.  The restaurant is located at 230 South Loop 336 West in Conroe, Texas 77304.MCABW offers four $500 scholarships each year to young women who are graduating from a high school in the county and who have chosen to pursue a degree with a business focus at a Texas university.  The organization also offers scholarships to MCABW members who might want to change careers or advance their business.Caroline Griffin, who is a founding member, serves as MCABW scholarship team leader.  She explains that the scholarship program was designed to encourage young women to pursue careers in business. “We believe that helping young women in business will help provide future leadership for all of Montgomery County,” she said. “We want to help further their careers and build their level of success.”This May luncheon will mark the fourth year of the scholarship program, and the group hopes to expand the program in the future.  “It’s so heartwarming.  We look forward to growing our funds and giving more scholarships in the future,” Griffin said.The organization will also announce membership drive winners at the May meeting. Patty Collins, who serves as the membership team leader, explained that awards will be given out to the women who helped add the most new members to the group.The MCABW provides a forum for local businesswomen to support each other – both in their professional and personal lives.
