Eric Clapton Autobiography a Great Read

I’ve had a blast reading this book! Being I was only 14 when I first heard Eric play guitar(1966) and been listening ever since, his story and experiences reminded me of how revolutionary Rock music was in the early/mid sixties. Clapton was all over the days of the “English Invasion” and recounts so many legends and rumors that you almost live the Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll like you were there with him.

Its hard to be more honest about one’s life than Clapton is here. This is not about fame and fortune, but the battles and temptations he faced as “The Guitar Hero” and his continual struggle to account for his actions and clean up his life. Along the way, he confirms and debunks the R&R myths many of us grew up believing. His story is an absolute inspiration for anyone facing the demons in their life.
