Lake Conroe Park, sometimes called "Park on the Lake", is located on the south end of the lake and is open to the public. A nominal "per person" fee is charged for use of the park and its facilities which is $2.00 for those 5 & over to 65 years old. Two desiganted swimming areas, two playgrounds, two fishing piers & many cookers & picnic tables. An elaborate pavillion is available for $135.00 per day (1/2 day optional). A $65.00 clean-up fee is required, however, this is refundable if you clean up after your special event. Please contact Julie Puckett for reservations at 936-539-7815. The park is open 6 days a week & closed on Monday for ground maintenance. With many amenities for children, teens and adults too, the park is quite popular for families living near & far .
