Shaun's Biography
Shaun Gonzales began training in the martial arts when he was 5 years of age. With 18 years of experience, in American Freestyle Karate and various martial arts, Shaun began performing demonstrations at the age of 8. Through his training he has had many requested for exhibitions at many social events.
His father Tommy Gonzales and local point sparring and full contact fighting champion Alex Petruchenzki developed his training in the martial arts. His background in martial arts has also experienced training from various celebrities and martial arts champions such as: 5 time World Kick Boxing Champion Kathy Long, 7 time undefeated World Kick Boxing Champion Bill “Superfoot” Wallace, pioneer in movie choreography and martial arts entertainer Ernie Reyes Sr., and Nunchucku Training from the “White Ninja” on the movie “Side Kicks” Wayne Nguyen.
Excelling in empty hand, weapons forms, and board and brick breaking his showmanship carried through many events. This encompassed church Youth Rallies, Health Benefits, Houston City Hall, Houston’s George R. Brown Convention Center. He has also performed in Houston Parades, and on stage at Disney’s Epcot Center in Disney’s Music Festival 2000. His opportunity grew into some areas of theater such as playing a role as a fighting angel in Fire Dove Productions’ “The Night Before Jesus Came”, and also modeled the trailer, for the main character, of the best selling book “A Bride Begrudged”. Shaun is currently involved with teaching private and class lessons within areas north of Houston. |
